INDUSTRIAL BATTERIES:
A battery must be able to deliver the stored energy effectively and unrestricted to show actual capacity and performance. High internal resistance shown in a battery will cause stored energy to be available but nontransferable. Internal resistance is a crucial factor in how well your battery can perform during operation. For this reason, Versatile Fleet Solutions envisioned and developed a now proven process to reduce the internal resistance and restore a battery back to its maximum potential. Through testing, we realized that short charge cycling and equalizing can reduce the sulfation layer but does not reduce the grid corrosion. Our reconditioning process is proven to alleviate both in order to increase the potential output from each individual cell and overall battery. We take pride in our batteries and stand by our process!
RETURN ON INVESTMENT COSTS:
Versatile Fleet Solutions strongly believes in offering the best value in an effort to build long term and repeat customers. In order to achieve this, our reconditioning service cost for the customer needs to have a guaranteed return on investment. With that expressed, we calculated the cost to be based upon the current scrap value of the battery. Considering that the weight of the scrap battery will never change, you are guaranteed a monetary return on investment when ready to dispose.
VISUAL INSPECTION:
Each battery is visually inspected to ensure obvious faults are listed for repair.
DESULFATION:
After inspection, neutralizing salts, short cycles, and agitation to the battery are enforced to maximize the desulfation results.
GRID CORROSION:
After the desulfation, an Internal Resistance Flush is performed in order to clean the grid corrosion off the plates. The cells are then replenished with the specific gravities and topped off with a proprietary VFS Concentrate.
ADJUSTMENTS:
The battery then receives a specific amp draw to absorb the fresh acid and electrolytes back into the plates. Once complete, a full charge and equalize will follow. Any further adjustments needed to meet industry standards are completed prior to the final capacity load test.
LOAD TEST:
Our reconditioned batteries are load tested with an Eagle Eye DC Load Bank. During the load test, individual cells and overall condition of the battery are monitored and documented within a service report. The final Recondition Report is then calculated, prepped, and ready for delivery.
